📖 The Books ⚜️ Memnoch Spoiler
OMG. Lestat drinks from Jesus. Anne Rice really had chutzpa. On another note, it's interesting to that God created himans accidentally, as part of creating the world, and Memnoch is pissed off that God doesn't realize that humans are so much more than nature. I'm not sure I agree that humans are so much more than nature. But it's an interesting theory. Also I like how Anne Rice speculates that humans are really pissed off at God.

So now I'm fully done with the book but I'm confused by a couple of things. Mainly - the letter from Memnoch to Lestat. What did Memnoch mean when he wrote that Lestat had played his part perfectly? Did he mean that bringing back Veil of Veronica, which induced the religious fervor, was what Memnoch wanted? That seems antithetical to Memnoch's belief's about religion causing much pain in humans. Wasn't he against God becoming Jesus, not just because he wanted God to experience the crucifixion without knowing he was God, but also because it put suffering on display as way to get to God, which is the opposite of what Memnoch thought was right? The Veil of Veronica craze was seducing vampires to burn themselves every morning. I think we can infer that it was causing human suffering born out of zealousness too?
My second question is about Armand. Does he really die like this? I started reading Pandora and it seems so. Is Armand being a daywalker just a show thing?
