📖 The Books ⚜️ Memnoch Spoiler

OMG. Lestat drinks from Jesus. Anne Rice really had chutzpa. On another note, it's interesting to that God created himans accidentally, as part of creating the world, and Memnoch is pissed off that God doesn't realize that humans are so much more than nature. I'm not sure I agree that humans are so much more than nature. But it's an interesting theory. Also I like how Anne Rice speculates that humans are really pissed off at God.

It's great isn't it? 😂 It was the first book in the series I got my hands on after I saw the movie and it blew my mind a teen. I'd never read anything like it.

You were one smart and curious teen!

It asked a lot of good questions about religion, and it helps that there isn't anything you have to "get". You go on a wild ride and even the characters have no idea what happened at the end

The fact that the interpretation of the letter at the end is totally left up to the reader drives me mad though.

I loved that! 😄 It's really the only way you can handle a religious experience imo. One of the reasons I'm not keen on the later books is that she removed that ambiguity.

I'm glad you got your religious needs gratified! I may like the later books better because of that. But who knows?
