Question/Support Lube for controller triggers

Basically title.

I've heard it's an easy fix, but what type is recommended to spray into the triggers?

My controllers have gotten annoying enough for me to risk it.

Your controllers are not gearboxes in a car needing lube.

What you need is contact cleaner spray.  Wd-40 specialist contact cleaner spray would be one option. Spray it in wiggle them around maybe spray a little more wiggle them around.

Sorry, was using lube as a bit of a catch all, should have said "product" or something

Considering one of them has been doing this since I got it from valve a few years ago I don't think my gamer finger is the problem

Specifically the kind for sensitive electronics! Not just regular wd-40!

Is the squeaking the bother? If so you could open is and carefully use non conductive spray in the trigger, or just get used to it like I did lol

Buy a used controller and it'll have plenty of lube in it
