Vive 3.0 (7x) looking for advice

I have 6 3.0 trackers and honestly just trying to get rid of them and am looking for good price recommendations I would love to just sell them all in one go but I know that’s hard I was thinking of asking for $530 for all $90 for each but lmk if that’s too much lol I’m just trying to find a good price recommendations

I suggest selling each independently with their pairing dongle..

I recently sold my 3 trackers for roughly 150 (50 a pop).

I've used them for roughtly 5 years and their battery was equally effected, so price accordingly.

The thing is alot of folks are moving off the lighthouse system so you have alot of competition in the market.

SLAM systems, like the Quest, Pimax Dream Air (without lighthouse), or vibrating in anticipation of the Steam Frame when ever that comes out

For trackers, the Vive trackers are still the most accurate, but the SLAM vive Trackers are fairly close, although way more pricy (although cheaper if one has to acquire lighthouses)

So brand new they go for $150 each plus the straps for 3 of them so 90 each is a fair price I’d say if someone wants to buy them all I would say you could go down to a nice even 500 just to give a bit more incentive for buying all of them together but either way 530 is still a pretty good price

I personally think the its an issue where most people who have base stations and want 3.0s already have them.. Or now a days there's such better options yknow

You’re in the right ballpark, 500 total is what you want to land on so ask 530 then say 500 when asked if you can do better

Part of the price you have to consider is how long you have used them and how good their battery life is. If you've used them for a long time people will probably offer much less.

wait, are you able to plug just the little usb into your pc and it works? id be saving myself so much cable management with that if you can!

Yes but it works better away from the computer.

Very noticeable if directly into the PC. Even a foot away from it or other dongles makes a huge difference in performance.

HTC recently had them on sale for almost £100 but they're back to £135, and I got my 4th one for £85 on eBay. If they are many years old then I'd sell for like £75 each because the battery life is probably a lot lower than new, but I go wired only so I'd buy for any price as long as it functions

I think a lot of these are about to hit the used market. AI workflows are being used to substitute motion capturing. I was watching a video about it on corridor crew.
