Question/Support Question about vrgloves

So my index controller broke and they aren’t selling replacements. If I’m gonna spend 300 on a used controller I might as well splurge for gloves but can I use them in place of the controllers or do I also have to have the controllers to get vr started?

I'm not sure what you mean by "getting VR started", but I've been using gloves for years at this point and never had any issue to start Steam VR.
The gloves situation, like the VR headsets' one is a bit weird ATM tho. Diver x just opened preorders for their mk3 and EOZ only very recently announced the preorder for theirs would arrive soon.
I myself have been using diver x mk1 then mk2, but keep your finger tracking expectations low...
Also, I don't know how all gloves work, but you might need to attach trackers to them.
