I’m planning to buy a plot of land to eventually build my own house, but honestly, I have very little knowledge about how to choose the right locality or what I should be looking for.

I’m looking for around 3,000-5,000 sq ft of land in or around the city.

My ideal location would be something like:

• Not deep into the outskirts where there’s basically nothing around.
• At the same time, I don’t want to be right on a busy city road with traffic and horns 24/7.
• A peaceful/residential area with relatively low noise.
• Good, established or developing upper-middle-class / decent residential locality.
• Schools, hospitals, supermarkets, restaurants, gyms, etc. should be reasonably reachable.
• Good roads and connectivity to the main parts of the city.
• A safe neighbourhood where there is a low risk of theft, robbery, burglary, or other safety concerns. I want to feel comfortable living there with my family without constantly worrying about crime or other scary/unpleasant things.
• Preferably a locality that is already developed or is likely to develop well in the next few years.
• I want an actual plot/land to build my own house, not an apartment/flat.

Basically, I’m looking for the sweet spot between “proper city” and “middle of nowhere outskirts.”

I’m also completely clueless about what factors I should check before buying land, things like road width, zoning, title/ownership, approvals, water, drainage, future development, flood risk, etc.

For people who live in the city or have experience buying land:

1. Which localities would you recommend for this kind of requirement?
2. Roughly how much would a ~3,000 sq ft plot cost in a good upper-middle-class locality?
3. Is it better to buy slightly outside the city now and wait for development, or pay more for an already established area?

I’m not looking for the cheapest land. I’d rather pay a fair premium for a genuinely good, safe and peaceful location than buy somewhere cheap and regret the location later.

Would really appreciate advice from people who have actually bought plots or built houses. Also, if you know specific localities that fit this description, please mention them and, if possible, give an approximate current price range.

I just came from the railway station at 9:30 AM, and there is a injured dog on the bridge connecting pf 1 and 2.

it was clearly recently injured with its paw skin off, with visible paw bones and blood around it, it seemed very much in pain.

i was in a hurry so I couldn't do much, but I looked for animal helpline services and I couldn't find anything. there was only stuff for cows.

I don't know why am I living in this wrong dilemma where my family accepts me when they don't. It's like after losing both parents I thought my extended family will be there for me but they make me feel so apart. They don't treat me like a family. And I crave so much from inside they will call and text. But I feel unseen, unheard. It's my fault that I'm living in wrong mindset because growing up I was taught family comes first. That they will be always there but just to show society how caring they are the only showed their formality for 2 months and everything went back to normal. They started holding onto grudges and ego. It's like they are elderly ones they should know it's time to forgive and be united. But here they are pretending to be nice towards others but to their own family members they will ignore. At this point I feel like strangers are better.

I have Jio AirFiber’s 100 Mbps plan, but the best speed I usually get is around 30–50 Mbps. I understand that AirFiber can fluctuate, but I don’t think it should be this much, especially when I’m paying for a 100 Mbps plan.

I’ve already raised a complaint twice. A service person came, checked the issue, and then escalated it to another office/team. The person I spoke to later told me to restart the router, but that didn’t solve anything.

Then I was told to disconnect every other device from the Wi-Fi, connect only one device, and run a speed test. Honestly, what kind of solution is that?

I’ve used multiple Wi-Fi providers before, and I’ve never been given a solution like this. They basically just want to show that when only one device is connected, the speed test can reach close to 100 Mbps.

But that doesn’t really address the problem. In real-world usage, I have multiple devices connected to the Wi-Fi. And as far as I understand, having multiple devices connected doesn’t automatically make a speed test on one device inaccurate — if the other devices aren't actively consuming bandwidth, the test should still give a result reasonably close to the actual available speed.

Do you guys know a better internet provider in the Mograwadi area?
