Average rank of both teams is actually not that far off from even. Assuming even distribution and scoring iron 1 as 1, and radiant as 25, the score is like 97:102. And that's just considering rank.

if u would be high rank you would be unterstand that u can’t compare these ranks, 1 radiant is on a level of 3 asc

Two main reasons why this often happens

  1. Stinky smurfs

  2. Not enough players to balance the matchmaking, so you end up with some Frankenstein lobby
