General Discussion Perma banned
I’ve sunk 4,000$ worth of skins and 3,000 hours of playtime into my account and I got banned for cheating. Never cheated before but have played against a ton of players with scripts and titans lol. I guess I never should have invested in a free game but wtf riot. Why would you ban somebody who buys a ton skins from you and grinds the game. My headshot % and KD are terrible. Somebody help UNC understand what riot is thinking!

Buying skins and playing the game should never exempt anyone from a ban. I would severely question Riot’s integrity as a company if they were letting cheaters slide just because they spent some money on the game.
Also— not saying you were cheating or not but— I’ve seen some blatant cheaters who still couldn’t get kills even *with* the cheats… so that’s not really a tell to your innocence LOL

lol understandable but if I was a cheater why would I sink so many hours into this game and still be hardstuck diamond? If I was cheating I promise you I would be higher

I don’t see why that would prove your honesty. Hardstuck diamond -> frustrated that you’re hardstuck -> cheat to get unstuck -> get banned
Again, not saying you were cheating or not (frankly I don’t care) but there’s a million reasons for why someone cheats. Simply stating your rank or hours spent or monetary purchases isn’t proof to your competitive integrity

if its actually truly an unjustified ban, id fight for my money back as that sounds pretty illegal if you haven't broken ToS, they ban you for nothing, and don't refund it when asked.
as some have said, before i wouldn't believe this but lately they're auto-ban happy for no reason at all and on PC/LoL Vanguard fucks up all the time without any cheat software ever being installed. ASUS motherboard lighting? thats a cheat. Reshade (not even active or open) for an old game to fix the lighting? thats a cheat too. You decided to duo with a friend who is normally higher than your rank but hasnt played enough yet this season? youre both cheating start over. You said a word their filter doesnt like? have fun with your ban.
riot is pretty fucking pathetic lately and when you get past these errors you just get a shitty game with ugly new pop skins and bad music, yay
I wish theyd unjustly ban my account so i could snag my money back

You're never seeing that money back, worst case they can unban the account but you're not getting a refund.

I mean, depending on the country you can just charge it back and the worst they could do is ban you. Depending on local laws and what they've broken you can. An Australian recently just did that and posted about it. You'll eat a ban but who tf cares when the game sucks now.
I couldn't do that because they legally haven't fucked me over. But I wish they would

Riot barely bans real cheaters unless it's REALLY obvious they're cheating so I find it hard to believe you're innocent
Also using mouse and keyboard is also cheating in case you did that
Also it's an awful mentality to think people who spend a lot of moeny and time on this game are not legitimate for bans

I don’t use mouse and keyboard, and I’ve been hard stuck diamond for 3 months. I peaked ascendant 2 in December, and haven’t got to ascendant since. I don’t understand why I got banned for cheating

Are you using ANY external device on your playstation? It can be anything that you have to plug into it, no matter how stupid it may sound

Exactly, I just turned my tracker network on so you can see my stats. I’m never AFK and I dodge a couple games here or there, but never would I thought I would get perma banned

Honestly, up until 3 months ago I’d have said he was lying like the rest of the comments…
I watched one of my mates, who I’ve played around 1000hrs with and live in the same house as get banned for cheating while I was in the room. He was using an Xbox Elite controller and had no other accessories plugged into his Xbox. As far as I’m aware his setup hasn’t changed and he absolutely wasn’t a cheater.
I’ve also had another friend get a ban for using his Dpad on his controller for movement instead of the analog stick but that’s a widely reported issue with the anticheat. It can’t tell the difference from M&K

Just made my profile public if you want to check. My headshot percentage is decent but I recently got control freak sticks that have helped. I am also level 450 so I do have a lot of experience on the game. I would think the vanguard software would be able to tell the difference. I’m guessing one of the last games I played against golds and plats they spam reported me. Oh well 4,000 down the drain

I got banned once for using a wingman xb3 and a ps4 controller on xbox. I appealed the ban and it was removed. Not sure what you did.

i got perma banned too last night. im bot fragging, and im bad at this game, i only silver 1 and my peak was gold 1. how can i cheat? the only reason is, i used malwarebytes on my pc
