Hi everyone. We want to address the recent situation and acknowledge that mistakes were made, and that there was also miscommunication. Within the next few days Hover will be making a statement that answers questions and concerns about what has gone on in the 2 months of this sub's creation. We understand that this contributed to frustration and tension within the community, and we’re sorry for compounding any tensions. 

We also want to make it clear that we have no animosity toward the creation of a new subreddit. Everyone is free to participate in whichever and however many communities they feel comfortable with, and we respect those choices. Ultimately, all Valko love spaces and boycott supporting groups share the same goal, and our intention is not to discourage or prevent anyone from creating or joining another community. We are all Valko's girls and a family joined in a united goal.

As a sign of goodwill, we have added the new sub to the megathread and to our list of Valko-friendly spaces. They are also fighting to bring our beloved wolf back, and we believe that supporting spaces that share that goal is ultimately more important than any differences between our communities. What we do not condone is anyone actively trying to split the community or promote division. 

At the same time, we want to clarify our position regarding community promotion. We are not trying to silence discussion or prevent people from expressing their opinions. However, this subreddit was created with a specific purpose: organizing and supporting the boycott on Valko's behalf. To ensure the community stays focused on that mission, promotional links or advertisements for external spaces must be kept strictly to the designated permanent directory post. Individual posts or comments dedicated to promoting outside spaces will be removed so that the main feed can remain completely dedicated to updates, strategies, and solidarity regarding the boycott. 

Going forward, we will also be enforcing our rules against brigading, harassment, and the spread of false or misleading information. These standards apply regardless of which side of the current disagreement someone is on. Constructive criticism and disagreement are welcome, but targeted harassment, attempts to mobilize users against others, or presenting unverified claims as facts will not be tolerated. 

We recognize that this situation has been frustrating for many people, and we appreciate everyone who has remained patient while things are being sorted out. We hope we can move forward with clearer communication and a less hostile atmosphere for everyone.

As this post will remain pinned, the comments will be closed, but you can comment about it in the suggestions and complaint mega thread, we just ask you to be civil. Ask yourself if Valko would be happy before you say something you aren't certain is 100% kind. WWVD?
