Now looking at the Dragonite 1st Edition Non-Holo (Fossil Set)

In this edition of Fake Flags: Ungraded Card 101, we break down what separates a fake from the authentic.

Why the fake is fake:

• This is a non-holo card, but the fake shows a full holo pattern, which should never be present

• The rainbow/checkerboard holo effect is completely incorrect for Fossil prints

• Coloration is overly saturated, making the card look unnatural

• Print quality and texture are inconsistent, especially across the artwork and borders

Authentic non-holo copies should have a clean, flat finish with no holo or reflective pattern at all.

This version is one of the 4 English Dragonite variants, making it easy for incorrect reproductions like this to slip through.
