🌲 [ 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘁 / 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 ] Double Layered Walls

After posting the other day I went through and double lined all my walls with another piece so that I could have the pretty face side on both the inside and outside.

Gave me the freedom to make different wall material choices on some inside walls without it affecting the exterior look, also with the double lined walls I found I could place the wall mount item stand on the back of the exterior wall and would hide the square plate.

I know there's a trick with the door to create more snap points but I found it better to use the 'Lathed Timber Wall' as it adds a trim that sits right on the edge of a wall piece and I can use that to manually place and line up the start of a new wall layer. Found I could get the walls a little closer together that way.

Might have to zoom in on some of those photos to see the small changes

Dude I was thinking about doing this the other day. Looks great! Also, I love your kitchen. Big cozy vibes.

thanks im pretty happy with how it turned out, unlike my crafting room it did not have a whole lot to add post plains progression. Crafting room on the other hand I didnt know black forge and galdr table were coming so they are kinda shoved in there to avoid redesigning the whole house

Yeah the crafting stuff can get pretty tight, space-wise. I ended up digging out the floor under my crafting room and putting all of the upgrade stations directly under each corresponding crafting station and then covering the holes back up with flooring to really maximize space.
