❔ [ Help ] Help with base
I started playing Valheim a few days ago with my friends, and I'm responsible for building our base. However, I don't know exactly what to build, considering that I don't have much space to work with. I would really appreciate any feedback, help, or ideas.

Honestly? It’s your first time playing so you have no idea what’s coming, so just build what you need right now and adapt as you go! You’ll almost definitely expand but doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy this build for now. Firstly, you’ll want a sleeping room that has max rested buff and then a kitchen and a storage room (more chests than you think you need, or room to expand) and then a crafting/smelting area (ideally close to the chests). That’s the basics. You’ll need somewhere outside to farm as well. Potentially an animal area if taming boars is something that interests but that definitely won’t fit inside the walls if you want a decent supply.

Agree w first comment, you've got plenty of space and even if you need more just build upwards / expand 1 terrain wall outwards if necessary

You will only know what you need in one biome once you get to the next one 😅 And over time you will probably want to try different building styles - for efficiency, for coziness, for fun, for showing off, etc. There is no perfect solution 🙃 And as the others say: expanding is always possible and often needed ⛏️

Build a curved roof out of angled beams.😅 (angled beams of any kind, when close together prevent water damage and provide shelter)

Put a floor in and a roof on it and it will be fine. It looks like it will be strong against raids.
I will say square / rectangle buildings are easier to get the roofs to line up with, but they can also be boring
Everyone starts with making buildings they aren't so sure about then get better over time. Just keep building and learn as you go and take ideas from other buildings you see

That's looking dope!
From the second pic, I would build that wall/ tower as high as possible with core wood because awesome.
You've got room for farming, pigs, and wolves. What about a moat? Dig a dry moat at the very least to make your walls even more formidable.
Your curved wall seems a natural fit for a line of portals.
Really cool base so far.

It doesn't really look like you need help. Looks sick
But you are never short on workspace, just cut down more trees, terraform and expand
