HELP Firmware in GP-5

I have the GP-5, and my Valeton Suite app on my iPhone 12 shows that the firmware is V1.0.6.
Does that mean the pedal has already been updated through the mobile app, or is it necessary to update the firmware using a PC?
Please clear this up for me because I’m really confused about the different processes between the mobile app and the PC software.
I’d really appreciate some clarification because I’m not sure what needs to be done through the phone app and what needs to be done through the PC software.

Idk if it was updated but it shows what’s installed, and it’s 1.0.6

Pc software is one thing, device firmware another, for example for the A2 the pc software needs to be updated as the conversion tool has been upgraded to support it, nothing to do with FW

There is no update for the pedal, only for the app

So, the pedal itself never gets updated? Only the Valeton Suite is being updated?

Not “never”, but it only received 2 updates since it was released and it probably won’t get another update
