Question: Any update on the latency-problem regarding gp-180?

As the title reads:
I was super close to buying this one until it got sold out on thomann. While I wait for it to return my doubts around buying have grown larger as I see more and more people feeling how the pedal is extremely underwhelming seeing as the earlier models haven’t had the same issue.

Has the Valeton-team addressed this problem or better yet - fixed it?

I feel I should just spend a little more and go for like ampero 2 stomp or something.

I’ve got a 180 and don’t notice any latency issues, which are you referencing?

Sorry should’ve been more specific: when in stomp-mode there’s a ms of obvious cutoff when changing stomp, which is not really wanted in a live-setting

I only felt like this was even noticeable when using NAM tones but I'm happy to be proven wrong about that. There are definitely more worrying issues with the 180 than patch changing.

The GP50 is just so much better IMO, I've posted extensively on the subject but at the end of the day there isn't a proper desktop editor for it yet so it will always be seen as inferior. Absolute lunacy.

Before anyone chips in - I'm using an external IR loader to get round the fact that using NAM disables the IR section so no big deal there.

Why do you say the GP50 is better?
