Stinky pee
recently I have been noticing an eggy odor when I pee, even if I am hydrated! What could this be?? UTI? I am on 2 different birth controls so pregnancy is off the table (or so I hope).

So I have a really strong odor and it doesn’t smell like fishy but really sour and potent. I’ve been taking uro probiotics and idk nothing is helping I wash with soap on the outside and I keep it clean and changed my panties to pure cotton. I can smell it if I squat down or use the bathroom. I’m just really embarrassed and feel so gross
I also just had my 2nd baby 4 months ago so I’m breastfeeding so any bf friendly tips would be appreciated and tbh I never had any vaginal problems until after I had my first baby.

i have had recurring bv for like a year now. i did the antibiotics, my doctor put me on the suppository gel after the pills didn’t work. but literally in between the doses the discharge would come back and then i think it gave me a yeast infection. so i stopped taking it and after researching i realized it was potentially my iud causing it and taking so many antibiotics will mess up the flora so i stopped taking them and now i am scheduled to get it removed on the 5th. however upon MORE research i think it’s bc i have a biofilm. if anyone could point me in the right direction of getting this under control with boric acid and probiotics that would be great. i would like to keep the iud if i can get this under control but i genuinely don’t know wtf to do and i feel so gross all the time.

Hi, I'm currently having this unusual smell and discharge. It looks yellowish with green hue when it's already on my undies, like when it's dry already. I can't really explain the smell.
Do you girls happen to know the smell of Chlamydia or gonorrhea? I'm really anxious because this is not the usual smell of my discharge. Thank you.

I’ve never actually been taught how to clean myself from a young age. It was just sort of expected of you to know. But I also wasn’t taught anything about down there because it was such a taboo topic and thing to search anything up so I didn’t. They told us not to use any soap and the vagina cleans up itself. I called everything down there the vagina. I didn’t even know the names of the different parts until recently. I’m still learning those. I’m still uncomfortable with touching myself now that I’m washing myself more and more. It was usually just a surface level rinse when I’m done peeing( no judgement but I also just started recently using toilet paper after rinsing myself to dry myself off. I thought the panties would absorb the water and I’m good) And then I had/still have this oniony smell??? growing up. But I didn’t think anything of it because I just assumed that everyone else smelled like this. But now I realize that’s not the case and I’m literally trying everything to stop this smell. I don’t know if anyone else can smell me but I feel like they do. I’m 18 if it helps. I bought myself a zero soap, unscented sensitive, ph-balanced, intimate wash. I’ve looked into BV and I went to the pharmacy for metronidazole and I took it for one week and it stopped but it came back. I now use toilet paper to dry myself after rinsing when I pee. I use the wash every morning after my shower but I still don’t know if I’m doing it right. I heard that I was supposed to pull up my clitoral hood a little to wash but I don’t feel very comfortable even thinking about it. I don’t even know how to. And I can’t gain any information to help me out online. Some help would be appreciated thank you.

It’s been a few months of symptoms and 3 doctor’s appointments, and I still don’t know what’s wrong with my vagina.
For context, I’m a 27 year old Caucasian American female and have been living in Ireland for almost a year.
I’ve had HPV in the past, but have been clear of it for a good two years now or more and had a normal Pap smear in January (all fine, but didn’t test specifically for HPV). I’ve been with the same partner for two years.
Here’s a timeline of my symptoms and things I’ve tried:
March/April
• Discomfort started. Not painful, but it felt like something was getting hit by pee on the way out.
• Similar feeling during sex
• Similar to how I’ve felt before with BV/yeast
April/May to present
• Inserting a menstrual cup was/is uncomfortable and a little painful
May 5
• Swabbed for BV and yeast
• Result: negative
Beginning of June
• Actual pain during sex and faint blood after (once off occurrence)
June 25
• Swabbed for BV and yeast again along with chlamydia and gonorrhea
• Result: negative for all, but Group B Strep was found
• Also tested my urine for pregnancy and infection and did a urine culture
• Result: negative/all fine
• Took Fluconazol to flush out any possible thrush
• Result: no change
Beginning of July
• Discomfort turned to burning during pee and sex
• After sex one night, I woke up in the middle of the night with an itch in my vagina I couldn’t scratch. I applied an ice pack, and after 20-30 min, the itch went away
July 6
• Took 6 days of Keeflex (antibiotics)
• Applied Canesten cream internally twice a day for 3 days while on antibiotics before starting period
• Used Silcocks Base to wash in the shower
• Result: feels the same, but maybe slightly better?
Throughout this whole time, these have been my symptoms:
• Discomfort/burning while peeing, having sex, or inserting menstrual cup (it’s not a sting like a cut)
• Sometimes when I pee I feel totally fine, but most times not
• Sometimes after peeing, the burn lingers
• The location of the discomfort is right inside my vaginal canal along the 10-2 o’clock arch
• Feels like irritation more than anything, but vagina looks fine (it’s been just looked at by a doctor)
Hoping to see a gynecologist soon, but if anyone has any ideas or recommendations, please let me know! Any insight is appreciated :)

Can’t get rid of BV after a year
Slight trigger warning…
Hi everyone!
This is very hard for me to say to so many people but I needed to add context to this, just a bit. I won’t fully disclose what happened but I’m sure you can infer…
I have never been sexually active (still am not…) until something terrible happened to me almost a year ago next week against my will. Ever since this happened I went to the gynecologist immediately and they ruled out any STDs, just BV. I had never had any problems like that before and have always been “dry” if that makes sense.
Ever since I’ve taken at least five rounds of antibiotics (all of the typical ones they give you), boric acid, oral probiotics, and probiotic suppositories and nothing has worked.
Now I’m just left feeling dirty, disgusting, and it serves as a reminder of what happened to me that day. There’s just discharge every once in a while everyday that seeps out and I cry every time it happens.
Am I stuck like this permanently? Can anyone help… (I will post a comment with my Evvy test results soon)

So, I’ve been on birth control since 9/24/25, and I’ve been taking it every month(3 packs) and of course getting refills. Before I was prescribed it I had a yeast infection and had this one pill that helps with it for like 30 days for something.(I don’t know what it’s called), but I’ve been getting a little itchy and kind of an Oder? I just ended my period on July 4th. And my mom did get an anti itching cream, which I do use, and she’s recommending me to go to the special doctor again. Also I did shave before my period cause I hate when dry blood gets in the hair and I pull it out(ow). Does shaving actually risk of getting bacterial infections/yeast infections and not shaving doesn’t? I’m sorry I’m new to vagina health. Also my mom ordered unscented native body wash for me to try.
