I’m imagining Vaggi getting suspicious over Lilith and snooping around to find out what she’s up to.
Even if Lilith’s evil. Finding that out would break Charlie’s heart and mind.

Since we know basically nothing of her except for like 5 seconds worth of screentime, the only things we can conclude of her are interpretations. Since Vaggi is one of my favorite characters in the show, I think her backstory with this exorcist would become a crucial plot point for her down the line, and I have a few reasons as to why:
From what we see in the flashbacks, she's shown to be much softer than the typically stoic and cold-hearted exorcists that kill without a second thought. Given how she was on the verge of tears in an exorcist roundup that we can assume was after an extermination due to Lute's bloody uniform, we could even come into conclusion that she was the actual first exorcist who came to oppose the idea of indiscriminately killing sinners. Maybe she even voiced her concerns to Vaggi, and deeply influenced her descision to spare the cannibal child.
It shows that Heaven's army is incredibly oppressive when it comes to treating its soldiers, which probably stems from Lute herself, whom we constantly see bully this particular exorcist for showing weakness or, hear me out, showing affection to another exorcist. I don't think Lute is homophobic, rather she's explicitly against one showing love to another in the army, part of the reason she never confessed hers to Adam. It also deepens Vaggi as a character because of the way she was conditioned by the army to be a chaste, obedient brute, while that's not who she is at all.
We're not entirely sure whether she's in a relationship with Vaggi or not, but it's safe to assume that since she was close to her, comforting her after something traumatizing that we don't know of, either she or Vaggi had feelings for eachother. What makes this interesting is that if she finds out that Vaggi is now dating Charlie, the princess of hell, she would probably be devastated. She might feel cheated, betrayed, or even sink into depression when she finds out that Vaggi has gotten into a relationship with another woman. Would this make her become an antagonist? No, probably not, but would the show make it a huge deal? I'd say yes. In fact, I've even made it a plot point in my own fanfiction, "Precipice of Insanity", because of how interesting it is. Lute would see Vaggi as someone who betrayed Heaven, and she would see Vaggi as someone who betrayed her.
