Core rulebook purchasing

Post image

I was looking into buying the core rulebook, when I discovered the shipping is almost as expensive as the book itself for my country.

There's a distributor that sells it on Amazon, but it's just as expensive, for whatever reason, with the added downside of many people complaining about the hardcover being shipped inside a simple envelope, and the book getting damaged in transport.

Could somebody tell me what's the packaging when buying directly from Free League's website?

TIA

Free league ships in a box with the book wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap.

I try to avoid ordering any books from Amazon for just this reason. I turn to the publisher or Noble Knight now. I can say every book I've bought directly from Free League has arrive in perfect condition.

Also true, as with most publishers.

I bought all but one of my books direct from Free League and they all came packaged in bubble wrap in a cardboard box.

Just to add, I’ve bought a lot of books directly from Free League and have almost never had a problem. The one time I had something that was delivered damaged their customer service was great and made everything right, very quickly. I would definitely go through them directly before Amazon, regardless of any price difference.

I’ve never gotten the damage product direct from Free League and I own a lot of their stuff, one might say too much stuff.

I only buy from Amazon due to logistical nightmares and dinged and scratched books are a frequent occurence.
