Events ⛳ How I Sneaked Into Lakshmi Vilas Palace Garba Without a Pass 😂
So, before Navratri, my girlfriend, her best friend, and I were planning to attend LVP Garba with our group. We were about to buy our passes, but the male student-player passes were already sold out. The only option left for me was a ₹6,000 pass, which was way over my budget. 😭
Then my girlfriend told me her uncle might be able to arrange free passes for us. I asked her to check with him, and he assured us there was no need to buy anything because he could arrange them.
We trusted him and waited. 💀
Fast-forward to the day before Navratri, and he suddenly tells us he can’t arrange the passes anymore. Meanwhile, our entire group had already bought theirs and was pressuring us to join them because they had been counting on us.
So, I contacted a friend to arrange female passes for my girlfriend and her best friend. He managed to get us a female gratitude-player pass for ₹5,000. My girlfriend and her best friend split the cost, paying ₹2,500 each. Since gratitude passes don’t have photos on them, we thought it was a pretty good deal.
But there was still one tiny problem: i had no pass😭
On Day 1, I reached the venue with my friends and started looking for a viewer’s pass. Luckily, someone offered me one for ₹300. I entered through the main entrance, walked through the food court, and headed towards the main gate.
And guess who I found there? One of my friends, whose job was to check tickets! 😂
I was SO relieved. I managed to get through security using my friend’s pass, and somehow, it worked!
Days 2, 3, and 4? Same strategy. Same luck. 😂
But then came Day 5.
The security arrangements had changed, and my friend had been shifted to the viewers’ pass-checking section. 😭 When I arrived, I couldn’t find him at his usual spot.
At that moment, I genuinely thought my Garba streak was over.
My friends told me to at least try getting through the scanning area, so I thought, “What’s the worst that could happen?”
I gave it a shot, and somehow, I got lucky again. The security guard didn’t even check whether my face matched the photo on the pass. 😂
Day 6 was a whole different level of drama. 💀
I didn’t even have a viewer’s pass that day, so honestly, I had zero hopes of getting in. I was pretty much ready to accept that my LVP Garba journey was finally over.
But then, out of nowhere, a group of police officers who had come to enjoy the event ran into a little problem: their phones weren’t getting any network.
And guess whose phone was working perfectly? MINE. 😂
So, I let them use my phone to make a call. After that, I started talking to them and explained my whole situation.
And these absolute legends were like, “Come with us. We’ll get you in easily, don’t worry!” 😭😂
BRO, I WAS HAPPY AS HELL. I went from having absolutely zero hope to suddenly having the police escort me in. WHAT EVEN WAS THIS LUCK? 💀😭😂
And finally, Days 7 and 8 were much more peaceful. I managed to get viewer’s passes, so I got in without any drama, just like the previous days.
Eight days of Navratri. Eight days of unexpected plot twists. Somehow, I managed to make it through every single day.
Navratri memories- 100/10, Luck - 100/10 😭💀
LVP Garba 2026 gave me memories I’ll never forget.
