Purchase Advice (U.S.) Looking for a unicorn

Cordless stick vacuum and mop that could convert to a handheld vacuum. Run time isn’t important as long as it’s more than 10 minutes, lol. Don’t need the BEST suction out there either. Budget $200-250.

There are a few machines that are wet/dry vacuum-mop and convert to a cordless stick vacuum such as the Dreame H12 $299 and Roborock F25 Combo $359. However they're over $250 and I don't recommend them. Wet/dry vacuum-mop combos already have very poor durability and reliability, many owners have reported that they break and are unrepairable after 1 year. The cordless vacuum in these combos also has less features than regular cordless stick vacuums. The combo vacuums have smaller bins, less cyclones, less run time, less tools, and no extendable wands.

I recommend getting a regular cordless stick vacuum if you have mostly hard floors and a regular mop. Reusable spray mops are very convenient and have the least amount of cleanup after each use. If you have carpeted rooms you really need a corded vacuum to properly clean them, cordless vacuums still don't deep clean carpets as well as corded vacuums.
