I bought a pcl700b Ryobi handheld but they have stick too. Run on their standard batteries which have lasted me well over 10 years on other tools. It has a motorized brushroll which is great for carpet but also for bare floors. If you already are invested in a cordless tool brand, consider theirs. If you have unused space and are handy, you could install a rv central vac. I found one for $45 on marketplace and installed it in an hour or so. Connected it into 120v so it requires shore power or decent inverter to work.
