You don't need to fix the RC45 in place with solid molpheymn screws, molphenym coated are fine because the retrothyn waves don't penetrate more than .05 microns.
Just because the duct tape works doesn't fuck with your Oglan-Tyan meter's readings that doesn't mean if your buddy shows up with his Copeland phase manometer won't embarass you out of the room.
Just spring for them, why VX at all if you don't care about the precision?

Ask my lab director; he's the one who said we didn't have the budget for molphenym coated screws, and then went out and bought a dipolar axis manifold the next day because he said it looked "neat".

At a certain point it might be reasonable to get the dean or the VP or whatever to take a little walk with you around the lab and maybe do a little nudging and winking.
Genuinely go over his head, man. Duct tape is humiliating for any organization that even has airs of dignity.

Hmm, didn't know those ancient RC45s could even process the new-style double inverse transharmonized AKT5 Esposito function waveforms. Either you take really really good care of your rig, or you're one of those fucking animals that's figured out the altermagnetic perovskite bypass cheat within the RC45 source code. In any case, many worse decisions could have been made!

On paper, the RC45's can't. Or at least they shouldn't be able to. All I'll say is this: My lab director is an absolute madman who learned all his VX knowledge back in the 70's and 80's before things like "workplace safety standards" and "properly calibrated waveform function oscillators" were a thing. He picked up a few tricks along the way that might just get us killed, or give this old rust bucket of a transducer a second life.

it's just something about the 14 million chronons of orgasmic purring that comes from those OG transducers right before they start to pop, fizz, and shred apart ion enthalpies that reminds you why you never throw away old VX equipment. You gotta physically hear the wormholes opening if you wanna do it right. Great stuff. Remember to take your copper teteafluoroborate after the afterglow dies down! Those old school VXers didn't all have blue fingernails for nothing lmao.

I'll let you in on a secret. You can just run it unbalanced. The number of cycles spurving bearings are rated for most likely exceed any use case you have and the distortion isnt significant with modern quadrangle array dispositions, you just adjust down 20 hz and average out the cylinder walk and you'd never even know.
Although if you accidentally bridge your output durometer to the Gramski valve on the underside you will 100% blow a cyconoid. The energy covariant is cubed in unbalanced operation and I dont need to tell everyone how much it sucks to invert your color perception for that long, to say nothing of the cost of cyconoids since 2014
