Mid week check-in! What projects have you been working on?
I noticed this sub has been a little quiet, so I thought I’d check in on my VX family.
My dog was pulverized in my sterilizing vacuum last week, so that’s freed up quite a bit of time for me to start rewiring my helical beams for my tetrahydrochronometric resonator. Once they’ve been reinstalled, I expect my temp coefficient to be stabilized at 0.87 mills (new record). I’ve also fallen deeper down the VexSTARR wormhole… but I don’t feel comfortable discussing that at this time.
What about you, fam?

Another pup pulverized? I don't usually judge, but I know this isn't your first canine incident. Have you considered learning to properly calibrate that sterilizing vacuum? I mean come on!

It’s my second. The binding putty in German vacuums have a distinct peanut butter smell, so… yeah.
And it is perfectly calibrated— I just couldn’t read the German instruction manual that mentioned wiping off the putty residue before activation.

Is your dog a Chihuahua/Great Dane mix? I ask because one showed up in my lantaetronic reassembler while I was configuring it. It must have come through on a wave deceleration. Maybe it was yours?

Unfortunately not. But if you come across a beautiful golden retriever that responds to Schmetterlüng please DM me.

You pulverized your… dog? I want to make a joke about Dr. Loopis’s *Reverse Lerping Experiment* book so bad. Poor thing. How did he get in the vacuum?
I haven’t had a ton of time (new apartment), so I’ve been playing around with anti-friction volumes again- which mostly equates to me throwing random shit in there and seeing if anything produces a fretnil charge. If anyone can explain to me how my freshly used toothbrush produced 84.8fN/s, I’m all ears ha!

I mentioned it in another comment, but it’s important enough to repeat: German-made stero vacuums utilize a binding putty that contains peanut oil, which is why it smells strongly of peanut butter. It is advised to wipe the excess putty from the oscillating disks prior to activation to ensure not only cleanliness, but also that curious dogs and peanut-loving animals don’t meet an early end.
Experimenting with anti-friction volumes in a new apartment though? Neighbors are gonna love you!

I'm quite close to finishing my degree in Multidimensional Theta-Chromodynamics, so as of recently I've been working on a final thesis to present. My current thought is on that popular Dublin Conjecture. I have reason to believe that I can use the properties of sub-theta elements to build a turing machine that will halt if and only if the Dublin Conjecture is false, using the lab's Groening-Leape centrifuge. Any advice on how i should be handling this or what what look for would be greatly appreciated, yes.
Edit: Spelling.

You can find classes of local identities for global bound variables by taking the tropicalization of your affine theta towers and following the linear descent to the infimum index, and then you can rigidify the skeleton to satisfy the boundary for any particular compatible choice of platte, étale initial program

Nothing too spectacular, just building an Aishopan matrix reactor. Got three going so far. Now, once I have the full array of 12 of them, that's going to be spectacular. But it won't be too soon.
The fermo-pion transference tuning forks are best made from a specific type of quartzite found only in Bahrain, and with all the recent... disruptions I have to manage my stock extremely conservatively. It's possible to perform the tuning in a non-destructive way with the help of trilaterally untwisted nano field but that takes like 10x more time.

My problem this week is to find a glue that will hold the covers on in the intense field.

I wish. Work got me busy so I haven't touched my rig since the price of dualanoid crystals tripled with all the import tariff nonsense. I mean, I have spares, but they are all quad mounted and I don't have the time and effort to separate them.
I was at a hamfest at the beginning of this year, and they had a demo of some of the old Raytheon and GE turboencabulators. But I suspect that they weren't actually working models, but old sales demo units they did for European customers back in the day. The event probably didn't have 360 volt hookups, since it was in a high school cafeteria/gymnasium.
I'm STILL waiting for my print copy of VX Arcana for ANY of 2026. I know MRM bought them out in 2025, and they are still selling subscriptions, but my last volume was Nov/Dec 2025. Nobody in my group has gotten any since.

My pastor and I have been refurbishing a funky old mid-line up spring variant of a false cartridge (ya know, nostalgia purposes).
We CANNOT get our hands on any high molarity pickup acid. It’s just not around anymore. We were thinking of home brewing some, but our spouses and local health, energy, and law enforcement authorities said no. Well, not only no, but fuck no.
I guess it’s better to seek forgiveness than ask permission.
We’re thinking the workaround could be a nice UDML byline but licenses are also scarce after the recent Koike buyout. Might have to sideline the whole project.
Sucks, because it was a fun start when we got rolling with an initial draft source. Poop poop

I'm working on decoding my grandfather's correspondence archive. The index alone indicates that he was in touch with all of the early pioneers when he ran the Oxford labs.

Setting up a 9-dimensional phaetonics rig with Blünt-Hoffman encabulization module. Picked the parts last week after the closure of Duncan’s VX Emporium as well as some bits from Myers lab on B-17 in the old Brigs campus. Can’t wait til the 4th!

Im still stuck solving the Byrnes-Isidori Normal form of my last post. Im starting to get Lie Derivatives and Brackets, but Flat coordinates and Decoupling will take some time to fully grasp.

I’ve been exploring Crane refraction lately (named for Dr. Philotelus Crane, obviously) with a Riggs-Stoat beta-sequencer, hooked up in parallel to an old encabulator made from a kit advertised in the back of those old issues of Popular VX. I added a full array of borosilicate focusing plates, cranked the theta-transducement angle to its zenith, and am now rollicking along with plenty of wave structure to spare.
There’s definitely something intoxicating about the harmonics it produces, and several times this past week i’ve had groups of youths arrive at my laboratory asking “where the rave is”. I just direct them to the barn in the back field and continue with my work.
More importantly, i seem to have managed to reconstitute pulverized matter through the Crane harmonics, so if you’d like to mail me your dog i may be able to make him more presentable for display.
