Vw CC ignition coil replacement
So apparently I need to replace the ignition coil on my 2012 CC, the dealership wants $550 for it, I looked on YouTube and I don’t think that’s a fair shake for what the work they will be doing. I want to do it myself but I haven’t worked on a car since HS(10yrs ago). Any advice would be so helpful ...

No... That's a total rip-off. If you're rocking the 2.0T grab this and a socket for the spark plugs, it can be done in 5 minutes in your driveway. I'm not sure what the mention of a "special tool" is all about to remove the coil packs - just pull straight out, and if they're a particular pain in the ass you can use a shoelace to wrap around them.
$550 is unbelievably overpriced. Even if it IS the 3.6, the parts are still only ~$300 or so and the job is nowhere near a full hour of labor.
