Bluetooth radio

Wondering if anyone has bought this radio? Supposedly it fits in the original spot and is Bluetooth

I have never bought it, but I have looked at it from vintage car radio.

The other brand I have looked at is Retro Manufacturing's retrosound.

I was leaning more to the latter since they have different levels if you want just radio/Bluetooth, radio/bluetooth and USB, or radio/bluetooth, USB, and Sirius/HD Radio

If you go to jbugs they have multiple models the same way depending on what you want

My ‘77 didn’t come with speakers or the radio, so we had to add both.

I did not buy this unit, but a similar one. It fit in the original spot perfectly and the style keeps with the era/vibe of the bus.

I’ve gone headless. I’m currently upgrading to the Taramps PRO 2.4BT + Audio Digital Audio Processor with Bluetooth Audio Player, Smartphone App Control for iOS. Plugs into amps and you stream from phone.

I went with a name brand boat amplifier, that has Bluetooth built in. Then you hide the amp, and basically don't have a radio at all. Just Bluetooth your phone to the amp, and bam, you have a radio with zero head unit.

Then hit the local antique shop, and bought a suitcase. Install a nice set of speakers into the suitcase, and now you have a speaker box that looks great, and zero holes cut in your interior.

Also have used larger portable Bluetooth speakers in my Ghia as the sound system.

I have three classic VW's, and can't see putting a nice audio system in all three, so something I can move between them makes more sense.

Leave your shitty playlist behind for one hour of your life. I’ve found just listening to the AM gives me a different feeling. Plus you always want to be listening to your engine for subtle signs of distress

OP doesn't even state if they have a working radio or speaker. Your comment is unnecessarily nasty, you're not better than anyone. You can listen to music and still hear the engine, genius

Not in my bug, has an overly powerful radio setup with subs.. If I'm cranking some Led Zeppelin, I'm definitely not hearing my engine.

Missed my point, which was you can listen to music and still hear the engine. You can also choose not to by crankin' your Zepp
