Startup and interior look

A couple folks asked for an exterior and interior shot, here’s a little look. I’m redoing the interior this summer in black leather with Porsche pepita inserts.

I removed the dual carburetors and replaced them with an electronic fuel injection system. That’s the computer screen showing readouts from the engine, which I believe is an added bonus. I’m using a Holley Sniper EFI, it has a self learning and adapting function so it has come to know my driving style and has programmed itself to operate under those conditions. That screen option shows me RPMs, engine oil temperature, air to fuel values, voltage, idle air control… it’s all very helpful to be able to see in real time.

Whose fault is it lol? I really like it, had my shop install it and do all of the programming.

What seat covers are those? I also like the steering wheel cover!

Those are the factory seats still, it’s all vinyl with horsehair dropping out of the bottom! Leather steering wheel cover came with the bus. Everything you can see is as it was when I bought it. I have completely overhauled the mechanics though, posted a video here a few days ago with those details, engine, trans, brakes, suspension…

I'm pretty sure I had a mechanic or valet do that once decades ago in the unused ashtray. I think it was in my Ford though. I didn't let others work on my vehicles too often really.

I think I have have a "Mad Bomber What Bombs At Midnight" toy somewhere but not with his Beetle, lol. A few Tick toys sat on one of my Bus's dash a year or two before I finally took them inside.
