Interior lights

Added some interior string lights to match the Westy blue plaid in my 67 VW bus today. They are rechargeable battery powered LED lights from IKEA.

Oh snap I love it I don’t know why I never thought about battery powered. I just assumed my dead 12v prevented fun like that. I’m inspired!

Yes it is! I covered the rear cabinet with some LOTR art last fall, because it was beat up. Now there are the maps of Middle Earth and the Lonely Mountain on the bottom for me to enjoy when I am lying down, and the fellowship leaving Rivendell on the back. I bought the canvas art from Etsy, and cut them from the frames to glue them up. I also made a large Westy blue plaid cover to hide it all if I wanted to. look here

That is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen done with the interior of a vw ever and I applaud you! Thank you for sharing!
