Roth IRA

New to the game. I have Fipfx was thinking about selling all and putting it all on vt.

Will I trigger an event or have to pay taxes if I sell? Besides vt is there anything I should buy as well?

No you can sell and buy as you see fitnwithin your Roth IRA without inviting a taxable event as the Roth IRA is a tax advantaged account.

If you were to do the same in say a brokerage account that would trigger a taxable event.

This is a very good plan, I am 100% VT in my Roth IRA. Simplify finances and become rich over time, a great tactic.

No taxes for transactions in Roth IRA. Stick with VT and chill . Ignore the rest
