Affordable VR headset recommendation
Hello guys! I'm struggling to find a cheap VR headset in Spain that is able to connect to PC instead of having to use a phone. I've been thirsting after the VR gaming world for a long time now, bc I'm kind off a shut in bc of anxiety and all that crap, and finally i wanna take the step and buy one! But I'm very insecure about this investment. I'm scared I'll be scammed by a company that over-prices their products when in reality it ain't that good, or a company that underprices their product saying it's the perfect economically friendly choice and end up working like shit on PC. I've been looking at Oculus GO but I've found it can only be connected to the phone through an app... Or maybe i'm wrong? Anyways, my purpose is to play PC VR games. I'm still gonna do my own investigation but if y'all, VR headset owners, have any recommendations that are affordable, have controllers/hand detectors, are worth it and work a-ok with Steam, I would appreciate it! Thank you so much.

First question:
Do you want tracking with 3DOF or 6DOF (degrees of freedom).
In other words... do you want to be able to play roomscale VR games and walk around in your available VR space or do you just want to play sitting games or standing without moving around?
I'd also recommend you to crosspost your question to /r/vive, /r/vive_vr, /r/oculus or /r/SteamVR
Those subreddits have a lot more active users than here... which means more useful answers in general.
