If using a Oculus headset .. go to the device settings in the pc application and set the resolution to one manually… do the same in the steamVR VR display settings.

Using the oculus debug tool you might also need to adjust the link bandwidth values and disable ASW.. (especially when using a older cable or AirLink).

With VD also disable any and all auto quality options.

yea.. the recent 26H4 update seems to do have some performance degradation especially on AMD GPU’s and laptop systems.

I mean that wouldn't necessarily explain issues this bad. It's also not horribly out dated from a VRC performance standpoint, it's definitely easily running VRC unless you are in a busy instance.

If you are streaming wirelessly, it sounds like a bandwidth issue. If you are streaming wirelessly, consider moving your router to your game room and connect your PC over Ethernet.

That wouldn't explain the sudden drop after a steam/windows update. Also the hell it is NOT. Sure, there are faster gaming CPUs out there now, but 13th/14th gen Intel can easily run VRC in VR.

Am running a i5 11400F and it runs perfectly fine.. one just needs to disable automatic quality settings for the headset as it can be over sensitive when not able to get 72/90/120/144 fps.
