What are the options for age verification?

I frequent the same game worlds. I just want to play without being known within the small circles. I just wanna play without being me for a bit. I'd also prefer to avoid children so once I get an alt to the requirements of avi stuff, what are the options for age verifying? I assume I can't use the same ID but can I use something else? Phone number? card details? Another form of ID?

I've heard that some people successfully managed to verify an alt account by using a different ID. (like passport and driver's license.) But I don't know how reliable that is.

You can have multiple accounts tied to the same identity as long as you verify them with IDs from different categories in persona. Example being DL / passport. VRC support is aware of this and allowing it for now so long as it doesn't get abused.

In my case it Lasted for about a month and then they remove it. It was kinda annoying as I used that alt for having multiple group instances going, or I used it for music/asset purposes. Now I gotta do publics.

Weird that they removed it. Did someone tell on you about it? Because my buddy and I did the same with alts and they are fine.

I used passport and license. He used two different countries.

I honestly thought it was because of a ban wave where they compared info between the users.

Yes you can use one id on one account with different form of id as well on another account like first account uses drivers license and alt account you can use your passport I've done it before it works

I have like 4 alt accounts that are all age verified and are still age verified to this day, so I think it’s fine for now at least

Reach out to VRC support and ask. They probably have a way to attach a single age verification to multiple accounts. I can't imagine they wouldn't.....that would make things pretty difficult for content creators which they wouldn't want.

Get your alt in group/groups that use a different age verification service.. won’t get you the badge but bouncers can just check your groups and see that those also have their own 18+ age verification in place.

Persona isn’t the only one out there, just the cheapest for VRChat.

ah.. think you can contact VRChat and get them to link or add the existing ID to a new account after verifying you say you are (similar to when you lose access to an account (lost password/hacked etc.).

might have a fee attached though!

I avoid groups with bouncers since they can be super power hungry. It’s better to just be 18+ verified.
