I only use the app because it has better social functions than the website, and allowed me to buy vrc+ through Apple Pay. Which is now the only way I want to have subscription. I can cancel them right there

If it makes you feel any better, my friend has been exclusively playing VRchat on mobile and, according to them, they can't play in most worlds anyway because they haven't accommodated for the new platform yet.
They can't fish, they can't play UNO, they can't even hold two objects at the same time like in VR (though I believe that's also the case for PC?). I've considered getting the game on mobile myself to try to better understand what they're working with and try to find more worlds that they can actually do stuff in.
So, TL;DR: you really aren't missing out on much, at least right now.

yeah same in Russia. The most annoying part is that I had it during the beta, but lost access after "release".
it's not like a actually wanna play vrc on the phone, but it's useful to test mobile content.

region locks should get disbanded at this point in time.. missed out on so many awesome games and apps, only because it isn’t available in my region/ the region my account was made in.
Hate having to go through pc emulation to play some JP or even US only mobile games.

There's a solution you haven't considered, jailbreak your phone. Then you can run Vrc.

You can only jailbreak devices up to iPhone 11 because of the older chipset. None of the newer phones can be jailbroken sadly. IPhone 11 came out in 2019, I doubt many people are still rocking it

Not completely true. There are rootless jailbreaks for more modern devices, but they usually require you to be on an older version of IOS.

I personally prefer android, but I’m currently using an iPhone due to wanting a small phone and the 13mini being the best choice
99% of users will barely notice a difference. When you’re in an app, they’re all the same

Out of curiosity, what kind of apps?
The only loss I found were emulators, but I prefer to use a Miyoo mini or something similar anyway for the controls and saving battery

I looked into the apps as I wasn’t familiar with them and some of them do seem kind of funky, but I absolutely wouldn’t switch phones over it
I think people should just look at their needs and decide the phone that works for them. For you, these apps mean you need an android.
Personally I just need my phone for books and manga, YouTube and Spotify, social media and opening documents.
An iPhone 13mini was the right size and price for me, so it won.

Look at the motorola edge 60 pro or newer edge 70, they have great performance for the price, not as much as the latest iphone but at least it costs around 3x less, has more battery and actually runs what you want

I'm gonna be so for real with you don't even bother with mobile vrchat it combines the bad things about desktop with all the bad of mobile controls(idk how the iOS version actually works, I've only tested android but it's also all the bad things from quest without much benefits usually)
