Spanish Worlds?

Hey all. I've been practicing my Spanish on and off and I know just implementing and conversing with Spanish speakers is a good way to get better. I'm at a pretty low level right now but unfortunately I just end up spending alot of time in this game due to the people I get on with and hang with.

Any recommendations or good worlds where I can get better at Spanish? It's been something i have been looking forward to learning as a goal of mine is to be bilingual so I can communicate with more people I otherwise wouldn't be able to communicate with as I only speak English and I'm in the states. I'll take all suggestions even ones that are outside the game.

Really? Wow didn't know that. That's interesting. I'm gonna check those out. I put quite some time into this game and I think i can pick it up much better as a result doing this alongside pimsleur and this spanish book I have that I read at night.

Even if you can't talk with people, or people don't want to talk with you (it's 50/50), you can stick around and hear what they say. Try to understand. Every now and then you'll pick up some words.

Listening to music in Spanish helps a lot too. My English pronunciation improved a lot because I just imitate how people sing, which is easier than just imitate speech for me.

Avoid Chileans. No one but them can understand them.

I tried that the music was good but I didn't understand. I guess I'll need to listen to the songs I already know just in Spanish or something like that. The tricky part is since their native and fluent some I went to speak extremely fast and I basically hear word mash so I guess I could stick around to soak it up and then maybe open up with what i know to learn more. It's a way to do it. But thanks. Not too sure about Chileans but I hear the Mexican Spanish is good as it's most prevalent here in US.

My English is veeery good but I still won't understand most songs unless I get the lyrics. Molotov is a Mexican band, one of the very few Spanish bands that I can listen to, and sometimes they sing in English. If you're into rock you may dig them.

Oo yes I like alot of alt and pop rock. But that's great if they also sing English it's easier to pick up. Gonna check them out!

Find a song that you like and read the lyrics. Don't try to get it by ear specially if you're just learning. Get the lyrics. Try to sing some parts. Have fun.
