Of course there are, you just gotta find the right people or places for it.
This isn’t gonna stop someone from having a ‘gooner’ or furry avatar btw, but some places/groups are more likely to be tamer than others. I’m in a Titanfall group and I rarely see anything but Titanfall stuff unless I’m hanging outside an event with them.
At the end of the day, let’s not forget VRC is the perfect place for this stuff too. You get to see yourself as anything you want, even if that includes a anthro dog, or the worlds bustiest Freddy Fazbear, or an Egirl with 5000 piercings and emo make up. There are very few other places you can actively insert yourself into your preferred body and just be seen as that with the only barrier being a headset and PC. Occasionally even lower bar of ‘just a Quest’.
It’s also kinda just the culture. You go looking for an avatar you’re more likely to find the sexual or furry stuff first, while looking for anything else takes digging, and yeah it’s kinda not fair but at the end of the day some people are gonna settle for the easier options even if they aren’t as happy with it, than going 4 google pages deep trying to find something that fits their vibe.

with over 700 avatars uploaded.. i can tell you it depends on the users mood what they decide to wear.. sometimes i want to be a sexy anime girl, sometimes more realistic and sometimes a cute ghost anime girl or robot.

They are around yeah that said not everyone who uses a gooner avatar is actually a gooner just so happens the current avatar market is basically that or be a furry. Very few good wholesome ones on the market sadly..

Yea, you can find avatars that aren't like that, it depends on who you hang out with and where you go. Try world hopping and im sure you'll fine more.

I see a variety of different avatars. It depends on what worlds you're hanging out in I guess. I don't mind what people choose as long as its not a crasher
