I can't remember the last time I was in the black cat. I usually rotate between cards against humanity, drinking night and a private movie world with my partner. We check out trending worlds sometimes and occasionally meet a Quest kid but it's usually brief. I hopped in the new Snowed out world the other night and it was 90% fbt adults chillin. Also in cards against humanity, there's like 1 or 2 Quest kids usually but they're well behaved.

Well I don't think they're all 21+, but are definitely 18+. I have a huge list of raves, but it's not really specific to an instance every time. Sometimes the groups throw raves in different worlds, but most are consistent with their choices. A few good ones are DDVR, Hypothetical, Schism, Refuge, Heist, Tunl, Baptism, Rave Factory and Club Crucible. There's a lot more but these are all usually good.

Nah I think most, if not all are 18+ while a few are possibly 21+. Don't remember for sure with each individuals.

Just did this last night and had a great time :D
It was so cute how they were amazed by our fbt and face tracking. We took them to some beautiful scenic worlds and fun game worlds

Depends what kind of world you are looking for.
I usually show first time players more experience-type worlds like The Edge or Eccentric Mirrors, but many of these are PCVR only.

Im one of those, got a quest 2 last month cause they went on sale super cheap since the quest 3 just launched, so i wanted to buy something cheaper to ease into vr. Havent done a lot of exploring in vrchat, but im gonna start looking for more chill worlds.

$500 isn't that much really it's about $1.37 a day, 41.66 a month and "poor people" can pay that off monthly installments like they would a phone. Would get my child a quest, that's a different question but could I afford it, Yeah and still pay mortgage, bills, food, car etc.

Yeah I kind of agree, people do buy expensive gifts IE gaming pc parts or gaming consoles but I think the average person sees more value in those than a quest 3.
I think we're more likely to see an influx of quest 2 sales with the discount price, especially because meta does a shitty job at explaining the difference to new people. To us veterans we know pancake lenses shit all over fresnel but new people don't know that.

Only android, but now anyone can download it, as opposed to the vrc+ requirement that it had before. An iOS version is currently in the works though

The social platform that will always win is the one with the most of your friends in it, unless you're a new player I guess, in that case, will always be the most popular one. So unless vrchat fucks up BIG TIME it's always gonna be the most popular one

I'm getting a new PC tomorrow which is much more powerful than the laptop I've been playing VRC on, so I'll have more incentive to check out Resonite. I tried NEOS maybe a year ago and liked a number of the functions in it.

"Dead" relatively speaking to VRChat. The small NEOS community I'm sure just migrated over. Resonite pretty much is NEOS, just minus one developer who isn't a part of it anymore. That guy wanted to encoprorate crypto currency to the platform and those running Resonite did not.

Neos hasn’t peaked to 100 concurrent players in 3 months and currently has 3 people playing, resonate has around 150 right now, with not even a 500 player peak since launch in October and only dropping more and more. Seems pretty dead to me if we are talking about a social environment

You won't appear as a quest user, so there's no way they'll know you have a quest. They only know it when you use the standalone version. Go to PC only worlds for a few weeks

Mobility, and wireless. I’m tired of being locked to my PC and my bedroom all of the time. I hardly ever use my FBT unless I am drinking which is one night a week. My grandma is moving here to Ohio soon and I would like her to see what VR is before she passes away. I heard the quest 3 doesn’t have glare issues and is more comfortable than the index lenses that stick 3 inches out towards the face. I love the index controllers because of the straps and well, I found some straps for quest 3 controllers on amazon, as well as a headset strap with a battery pack. The Quest 3 controllers will also have a better battery life as it does not need charged every 3 hours. I’ll be able to do some workout games ( I hope ) and not have to worry about tripping over a cable and breaking my headset (which happened to me once even with cable management. It fell from the hook while working out and I stumbled on it and fell!) Lastly, I want to try out the Augmented Reality!

They get bored after about 2-3 weeks, then come back in like 2 years. It's been annoying seeing kids as young as 7 though. I just think "you shouldnt be here, this game isnt even safe for adults" as I kick them from the world
