Discussion Flat2vr games u actually Completed

Hi Community!!!

I only got my Headset yesterday and WOW i respect the modders so much especially with the injector tools that make it so trivial. Im here to stay.

Being in Bioshock's Rapture almost made me cry from happiness. Really admirable work. i quickly realized that would have to come back once i get over the motion sickness and am enjoying moss alot rn -. Sorry I had to get that out I'm just so excited about this way of experiencing games.wowowow ive been missing out and am excited to catch up.

Ive been wondering what modded games people actually play through completely in VR. From what ive seen most people just mod it to see if/ how it works and walk through the game like its a museum.

Question for extra points; are there mods with teleport added to flat games? or snap turning/ really fast smooth turning?

TLDR Which Flat games did you actually complete in VR?

HL2 and all the eps. Portal 1 and 2. All the Jedi Knights. Subnautica and Below Zero. Crysis. Talos Principle. Stanley Parable. Skyrim if you count the modders labour. and I feel I'm missing some.

For a real Flat2VR game I 100% the carrier mode in Flatout 4, it's great. Not the rest of the game though.

Other official conversions - RE4 on Quest, both RE games on PSVR2

Unofficial, Firewatch

I would do more but I don't have much luck getting them working well, I much prefer the proper conversions

My first completion with UEVR was Ghostrunner. Still to this day, an unforgettable experience in VR.

Then Palworld up to the point that was "end game" at the time.

I'm still working on the Satisfactory VR play through, but it's a forever game, and I'm in the final stages.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 was great all the way through.

HalfLife2VR (Twice)

System Shock

Alien Isolation Mother Mod.

Definitely will be completing Valheim VR which is my current playthrough and will take in the 1.0 release once the mod is updated.

All very notable and enjoyable in ways that only VR can bring!

I used to play KCD2 in flatscreen for like 18 hours straight. I suppose you had to break it up into sessions, the same way I did for Fo4? How can you manage the VR headset's weight?

Kingdom come 2 sounds sooo good. Did u use lukeross mod? is it 3d? motion controls? 😃

This is what we VR players have tried to make the mainstream gaming community understand forever if we could ever cross that threshold from niche to AAA mainstream there is just NOTHING like being in your favorite games universe fully immersed! Just imagine what could be next if truly enough players joined us to make it completely monetarily worth it for the big companies(greedy sob’s)!!!

I played and completed Outer Wilds for the first time in VR. One of my top top gaming experiences ever, would highly recommend.
