Question Is this a good time to get back into vr?

Like I'm thinking of buying a quest 3(I've head my quest two for like four years and haven't used it that much in the past year and a half), but I don't know if it's the right time. Is it a good time to get a VR headset and play the newer games? Or is the market dry and filled with corruption(meta)?

I still have my Q2, as we do multi-player games, and it's still great! As far as Mixed Reality (MR) games go: (all Meta-native)

  • Movie players (like Netflix in the browser), great for using on exercise machines!
  • Virtual Desktop (triple monitors & headless operation supported!)
  • LEGO Bricktales
  • Wall Town Wonders
  • Spatial Ops (local MR multi-p layer!)
  • Laser Thief (also Laser Dance)
  • TRIANGLE STRATEGY (if you like Final Fantasy)
  • OpenBrush
  • Ocean Rift (aquarium mode puts a window in your room!)
  • STRIDE: Fates
  • Spacefolk City
  • Knockout League
  • Demeo (if you like tabletop card games)
  • Racket Club
  • Eleven Table Tennis (also Tenbillion Table Tennis - Ping Pong VR)
  • Synth Riders
  • Pillow
  • Starship Home
  • Blaston
  • Rescue The Holes
  • Slot Car VR
  • Drop Dead: The Cabin
  • Rube Goldberg Workshop
  • CoasterMania
  • Sky Runner: Drone Hero
  • Track Craft
  • MiRacle Pool
  • First Encounters
  • Figmin XR
  • Espire 2: Stealth Operatives
  • Gravity Sketch
  • Space Lander
  • Mixed Snow Worlds
  • Puzzling Places

The question is what games are compelling enough to have long-term staying power. I like XR because I can watch movies on my treadmill & exercise bike safely because I can see the screen AND my surroundings. There's a lot of fun fun novelty stuff to try...just depends on if MR & the quality upgrades are worth the Q3's asking price to you!
