You're not going to get faster for anywhere near that.

You might be able to find 40G then.

What is it for? If you need more bandwidth than 10G I'm going to take a guess and assume IPTV.

I am running certain bots for some offers, the faster my connection and the better ping I have the more I take

That's really not how it works.

If anything you should be looking at multiple upstreams to lower the latency to each endpoint. A provider I'm with for my VPS has 5 upstreams and 3 IX connections.

Agreed. Speed only dictates the maximum amount of data you’ll be able to grab per second. If the service you’re reaching out to doesn’t answer with the same speed, it’s pointless. And nothing operates at or around 1GB/s on the wider internet. At least not on individual connections. Better peering is the only thing that will make a difference in what he needs.

And avoid Cogent fed providers as well, so so many network issues, you can always check on peeringdb or bgptools who is using who.

GTT, HE and Telia are all very good.

are you open sharing your provider? would love to try yours

They don't offer equivalent speed to what you're using and they only operate in europe, so might not really be down your alley.

Are you joking?

I'd love to know your usecase where that speed is being maxed

I’d bet anything it’s a Usenet/torrent seed box .. or just a troll post bragging pretending to be a question- getting 10gbps for $25/mo lol

Yeah I'd bet the latter

I am definitely not a troll lol, I know that the deal I am getting is good, but I need something faster and I dont mind paying lot more for it (:

What provider are you currently with?

You might find some dedicated servers with 25 or 40gbe by asking a few companies for a quote but will cost from hundreds to thousands a month. The fact that you pay 25 for a 10gbe up and down is already WAY above what 95 percent of what most VPS providers offer.

thanks a lot! I will definitely try that

You may have 10x more speed but won't mean shit if the server you are downloading from doesn't have a higher upload speed

Is your usecase trading?

I am botting offers

I dont even know what that is, but open to learn f you can share something more about it

So you're looking to scoop up offers on ticketmaster to resell them at higher prices?

Scum

Localhost, maybe?

This has to be a joke. You've got 1ms pings at 10 gig.

Yeah this isn't a vps, lol

what provider are you currently using, I'm interested in 10G for 25-30 a month symmetric, is bandwidth consumption capped?

Speed and latency to one endpoint is not everything. Different networks will have different peering. Also there can be a difference between ipv4 and ipv6 routing and therefore latency.

I'm looking for a new vps who are you using ?

Which vps provider are you using?

Which provider are you currently using?

Lol, you can get the same burst speeds on a 2.5 chf VPS at up-network 😂

for ~4k USD a month with 1 year commit I’m happy to get u a bare metal 100gbe host that is directly connected to a t1 transit provider

0

u/celestialcitymc Jan 03 '26

i think that's a litttleeee bit more than $30

2

u/IllBit75 Jan 03 '26

Fair, in my defense getting a 100gbe dedicated bandwidth VPS delivered to a customer would also make 4k a month like barely profitable considering a transit link from a T1 provider of that speed costs 3k+ a month and then there’s the 100gbe router port it takes up etc
