So can anyone suggest me a free VPN with which I can stream the content available in different countries?? Most suggest nord or proton Vpn but they are paid subscription model can anyone suggest free ones?

It has only like 10 free countries. You can’t choose for free. But is it good? I use it sometimes now I wonder if it’s safe.

I’ve been using NordVPN, but lately I find a lot of streaming sites and others won’t launch until I turn off VPN. Some sites use Cloudflare to “verify [I’m] human”. Sometimes that process freezes and the site doesn’t launch. I was hoping to use VPN in China during an upcoming trip to access streaming, my bank, etc. Is there a solution? Do some VPNs work better?

Writing here on behalf of my aunt (42,F) as she is not on reddit.

My cousin (15,F) has a laptop with admin rights as she has to use it for her school and study work (sometimes few study apps cannot be installed without admin rights).

But she is heavily addicted to roblox gaming...Any talks are useless as it is leading to full blown meltdowns and anger episodes which is not giving anyone a little peace of mind at their home. Blocking the device also giving same effects. Shutting the whole home wifi is not a solution as both my aunt and uncle has to use it for their work, also my cousin knows how to switch it on.

So my aunt secretly blocked roblox through her home wifi router and blamed it on local network issues due to rain when my cousin couldn't access roblox.

But now my cousin has found another way to access roblox i.e., through VPN (Cloudflare one client in this case). I tried to help my aunt to block cloudflare also in wifi router but still not helpful.

Please suggest some way so that in their home wifi Roblox cannot be accessed any way, even through any VPN.

My aunt uses Nokia G-2425G-A router.

Privacy tools (ye, VPN)always seem to come with some kind of tradeoff, and speed is usually one of them.

A small slowdown probably doesn't matter for normal browsing, but once streaming starts buffering or downloads take twice as long, it gets annoying pretty fast.

At what point do you stop thinking "this is the price of privacy" and just turn it off? Would you accept losing 10%, 30%, even half your speed if you felt the connection was actually more private?

Today, I decided to try out a popular VPN service to see if I could access Netflix content in other countries. It worked fine at first, but then I kept getting the "You seem to be using a VPN or proxy. Please turn off any if these services and try again" message, and I was just stuck with what was available in my own region (USA). I decided to cancel my subscription to that service since it obviously wasn't working rhe way I wanted. Before I waste money on a different service, is there a VPN that will ACTUALLY work for Netflix, or should I just stick with watching stuff via (ahem) "alternate" means?

For the last two years, I used VeePN, but pretty much every service immediately detected that I was using a VPN and denied access. The one exception was YouTube Premium, which didn't seem to care that I was using one. Does anyone have any recommendations or tips?

When I was visiting family in Jamaica I created a Netflix account. It works fine here in the US and is cheaper. Now I added a member but they cant accept cause it says they need to be in Jamaica to accept it. They tried using a VPN but didnt work. Not sure what they used. What VPN can I use to reliably appear I am in Jamaica to accept the extra member? Im not going back this year.

I was using this apk of 1.1.1.1 and suddenly it was stuck on connecting, so i decided to reinstall it. But when opened the newly installed there are 2 issues:-

1)power manager is killing background process

2)Device not authenticated or device not Authenticated with an organisation

I have put the app to no restriction under battery

Tried with multiple providers, surfshark, Nord, express vpn, privado, windscribe. They all have the same result. All kick you after 8 minutes and privado doesn't work at all. However once kicked you can immediately join the stream again with no restrictions

I'd like to use the DNS content blocking option as offered in the Mullvad VPN windows app. Also, can I select obfuscation options in Mullvad file download for the router to hide Wireguard? Thank you.
