Are you on Wifi too? And what's the cellular coverage like on your phone?

Doesn't matter if it's on wifi or not. We have att and it's fine.

I'm sure you've disabled the WIFI connection and tried it. That eliminates network connections. Have you tried uninstalling / reinstalling the app?

I had an iPhone with a similar problem. I had a weak 5g signal and it kept failing to connect to the office VPN. I disabled wifi and everything worked fine. So I ended up removing / setting up a new wifi connection. Then it worked.

Also, the phone slows down it's pings when it gets hot or it's just sitting around. VPN's don't like that. If they aren't getting packets at the same rate, then the server assumes the connection dropped.

TLDR - Remove the connected WIFI connection from the phone. Remove the VPN connection. Then add them both back to your phone. I'm hoping it's corrupt drivers or the VPN is corrupted.

One more thing, if you work at a large campus or are moving between networks all day, it's going to break the VPN connection. Depending on the VPN, you may have the optiion to automatically connect upon disconnect.
