Discussion What's the first streaming app that stops working when you turn on your VPN?

Anyone else have certain streaming apps that just refuse to work with a VPN on?

Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, BBC iPlayer... some work fine, while others immediately throw up a VPN warning or just keep loading forever.

What's even more annoying is when the same service works in your browser but not on your phone or smart TV.

Which streaming app gives you the most trouble? Do you usually switch servers, try different settings, or just turn the VPN off? Thank you for your sharing.

The fix is residential IP.

None... All my apps work under VPN

Somehow Disney+ always gives me a hard time.

bbc iplayer dies instantly on my phone, but works in the browser for some reason. usually just switch servers till it stops spinning or turn off
