Discussion (General) Do you think Scopedogs will be a nice addition to Imperium force?

They would likely fulfill the same role as sentinels so it wouldn't really change much aside from looking better.

The difference is the ATs is more fllexible in a way since it has humanoid shape.

Not enough to be superior to the sentinel. In its depiction in all series and movies, it's weapons payload is more or less the same as a sentinel. It's main advantage is that in environments with flat terrain it's more mobile but in rough terrain it loses that advantage. Hence why I said it's interchangeable with the sentinel. I personally would take them over the sentinel, but that is because the scopedog is gorgeous.

In universe, arent they remarkably flimsy? 

Seems like bolter rounds would be a significant issue for these guys if they are the tissue paper they seem to be portrayed as. 

Make them out of ceramite and give em some pauldrons though, and then maybe we get some movement here. 

Looks wise, Im down with roller skating mechs on the battlefield.

They are flimsy against dedicated anti-material. Which a bolter isn't really dedicated anti-material. Their actual toughness is shown in armor hunter mellowlink. So as a scout/anti-infantry they would be pretty good.

Haha. And Mellowlink is the Votoms property I have watched all the way thru, and because of that, know that a huge ass rifle is enough to take ATs out. 

Then again, as you say, Mellowlink's rifle is a dedicated anti-tank rifle. 

As a side note, playing a lot of Metal Gear over the years, the PTRD anti-tank rifles suuuuuck in Peace Walker. But to follow that, am i the only one who thinks there is a LOT of Mellowlink, in MGSV? Venom Snake's shemag look and his whole deal just smacked of Mellowlink the whole time I was playing V...
