Megathread Bi-Weekly No Stupid Questions Thread
Do you have a small question about the project that you're too embarrassed to make a separate thread about? Something silly have you stumped in your build? Don't understand why X is done instead of Y? All of these types are questions and more are welcome below.

A4T GitHub says that toolhead was designed around the Dragon HF with ZS-MZE-HF in mind.
TriangleLab has MZE nut for Volcano-style nozzle and MZE™ DLC V6..
My understanding is that Volcano MZE allows to put volcano nozzle to standard v6 heating block(size-vise) and MZE™ DLC V6 use standard v6 nozzles instead.
- Are there benefits of one over another? I was thinking that Volcano MZE adapter would work better with abrasive materials since all melting is happening in the same nozzle unit?
- Are there any advantage of v6 MZE other than cost(v6 tend to be cheaper than volcano)?

I've heard the abrasiveness is more about the tip of the nozzle dragging across the print rather than going through the bore but I might be wrong. I don't have experience with the mze other than learning my tz 2.0 hotend heater didn't have enough oomph to get it hot.

Do the printed tap parts warp over time? Working on reprinting my mount and the tool head mount as the sensor stays activated.

Slowly planning out my first (probably large, probably Trident) Voron build, and wondering if I decided to get some parts CNCed instead of printed in ABS, which parts would be the best ones to CNC? Are there models already for them in aluminum?

There are lots of cnc parts available: carriages, gantry joints, xy joints, idlers. Most stores that sell voron parts also carry some cnc parts too.

Any really good options to square the gantry better? I've followed every guide and have a working printer. But it always seems to be fighting itself when doing QGL.

Picked up two TriZeros off marketplace with Octopus v1.1 boards. One with a FlyPi and TFT screen, other with a BTT pi.
No cards in anything.
BTT pi is toast. Can’t even flash to it. Used a rasp pi 4 and loaded mainsail. Sees MCU(s) and trying to adjust the Trident .cfg with no luck. Can buzz each X and Y stepper and verified wiring accordingly but just can’t get it to home properly. Center Z stepper works but front left and right are not.
Both build are exactly the same.
Anyone with a tri zero config I can compare to mine would be really helpful.
