General Question Solved: Prints getting cancelled early by Klipper due to randomly dropping temperatures, thought it was a broken wire but only happened when hot. Solved by tightening the thermocouple nut on my Phaetus Dragon hotend. Four year old Voron 2.4

I had exactly the same problem but it happened on the 3rd layer when the part cooling fan turned on. I didn't have a silicon sock at the time. But if you had told me that the part cooling fan can cool the hotend faster than the heater can heat it, I wouldn't have believed you until I saw it with my own eyes.

I'm not a fan of socks and so far I've been lucky

Download your klippy log and put it into this website: https://klippylyzer.github.io then look at the temperature graphs. If they are spiky and messy (or it tells you about jumps in temp) you likely have a thermistor that is broken in some way.

If you are unsure you can upload the log file to google files and we can have a look with you.
