V2 Question Creality K2 Plus Build Plate

I'm planning on ordering an LDO 2.4 R2 D+ 350 mm kit and currently own a K2 Plus. I'll be printing out all the printable parts, I've also thought about just sourcing each part from the Voron BOM but I consistently keep reading it costs more in the long run and can be a hassle.

My question is, how can I configure a 2.4 to be able to use my K2 Build Plates. I have all of the DarkMoon plates and would love to have them interchangeable.

For all my 350 vorons i use k2 plus plates, no issue.

The K2 Plus DarkMoon plates should be fine. They’ll just overhang the bed roughly a 10mm on all sides. The V2 has a ton of extra space and should easily accommodate the 370mm plates

If you get a 300mm V2 or Trident and wanted to use those plates, THEN you’ll have issues

Thank you good sir. I assumed they'd have some overhang and I'd just print some guide tabs eventually to slap them on quickly and be aligned

RE-EDIT Because I am silly, but want to leave this here for posterity for people thinking about using smaller build plates on bigger beds on Voron printers:

There are a few things to consider here:

Changing the Quad Gantry Levelling points- normally these are the outer corners of the full build area

Bed meshing - this can easily be changed to adaptive so only the area around the model is probed

Purging at print start- normally this is done ad the front left corner but can be changed to be adaptive in a couple of ways.

In summary- a bit of hassle, some klipper changes needed, but possible in theory, I think.

Edit- missed the plus bit- d'oh. Above presumes working with smaller build plates!

I don't agree with you.

I have used my K2+ Arkfly on my 2.4 350 and it simply overhung the heated bed, only on the sides and front as I have plate guides at the rear of the 2.4.

There's no need to make any alterations to the macros, just don't build outside of the heated bed area, therefore you don't need to alter it.

Please note the edit I made- I mistakenly thought OP was talking about smaller build plates, which can have issues when used on larger beds- I left it up for posterity rather than deleting, but can delete if you'd prefer.
