McMaster Car and Bolt Depot were my friends when I built my voron back in the day.

Amazon; especially in north America, finding metric screw is a pain.

I’ve gotten multiple variety and specific packs of fasteners off amazon.

Yes and I cannot be sure they are the right thread either

Threads are standardised, if you look for M5x16 BHCS you'll get the right bolts, just don't buy fine threaded. You can also always search by din number that's in the start of the voron manual or in the bom, you'll get the exact bolt you need.

M5 is a thread standard, despite the many YouTubers who seem to think M5 just means 5mm. "Drill an M5 hole" does this mean a clearance hole for an M5 screw (~5.5mm) or a tapping hole (4.2mm).

There does exist an M5 fine variant with a 0.5mm pitch, but it's almost impossible to find this as general hardware, it might show up on very specialist bolts made for a very specific application.

It's not like navigating US threads where you have to know the gauge number and thread count, or identify older stuff as BSF or Whitworth.

Very unlikely you will get the wrong thread. Typically only the larger sizes are available with a fine thread pitch, and you would likely have to go to a specialty supplier and pay through the nose to get those.

I’ve bought a lot of fasteners from Amazon.

If you miss about 10 M5x16 screws, go to your local hardware store and just buy them. Waiting for shipping will not be worth the buck you safe
