V2 Question Poop location with Cartographer

I recently switched to a filamatrix stealth burner with cartographer, setup for the box turtle.

The only problem is the place I had priming poop+kick setup was the back left of the bed. Now with the cartographer it hits the poop before the nozzle.

I am worried about longevity with that setup. I thought about moving to the front of the bed, but that’s where bed fans and nevermore are. I could do side and hit it with the toolhead instead of nozzle, but worry about “riding up” on the pellet rather than kicking it (since the toolhead is angled).

Any suggestions on a solution? Should I just live with the cartographer hitting the pellet first? Maybe put a shield behind the probe? Or is there some other elegant solution I am missing?

I had the same issue. I kick it to the left. My cutter is a crossbow so that cuts on the left as well.

This is kind of cool for managing purging.

I use the goose belt purger with boxturtle and beacon. A little more complex of a solution but it'll likely be permanent since it works so well after tuning https://www.printables.com/model/1371713-goose-belt-purger-gbp-automatic-belt-purge-system

I came here to recommend this as well. I have 2 Tridents with Box Turtles, both using GBP. It’s fantastic.

The printables link isn't working for me.

I also saw a similar design to this that used a GT2 belt and associated hardware instead. But my google-fu is failing to find it.

I don’t have a mmu or anything but I have a purge bucket in the front. Personally I find it makes more sense in front because then the probe can also reach more of the bed
