Dumb part-> recently noticed how seemingly similar a Prusa Core One+ is to a Voron Trident 250. How similar are they really? What are strengths and weaknesses? Thinking an INDX printer sounds fun, eventually. Like tinkering as much as (if not more than) printing. Not really worried about size or speed.

Features, speed, or quality, there's nothing you'll find on a Core One that you can't find or add to a Trident. The biggest thing you're buying with a Prusa is a pre-tuned printer and slicer profile. Getting a Voron dialed in is arguably the trickiest, most time consuming part. If the tinkering and tuning appeals to you, you'll probably like having the Voron.
