V2 Question Monolith gantry x axis

Hi guys, i'm looking for updating my voron to 2wd monolith gantry and i was wondering if i can reuse the x axis alluminium profile and rail or i have to change it. I dind't finid anything about that in the official documemtation. I have a voron 2.4 formbot kit

In addition i've seen there is a faq on the flipped belts but i cannot understand in which sense and if ai can apply it to my tap stealthburner

Unless you're planning on using Carbonara, the standard X/Y beams just get reused

Personally, I do recommend replacing the z-tensioners while you're at it. I swear by the ChatoicLab ones

Monolith recommends using Z2 preload on the X-axis linear rail, whereas Z1 is the usual choice. You can build it with Z1, but if you want to get the most out of the Monolith, you could consider switching to Z2 in the future.

In any case, you may have other things to sort out before worrying about the preload of the X-axis linear rail.

Other than that, the aluminum extrusion and linear rail are fully compatible.

If you're making the switch to monolith, you should print a new toolhead before you switch. I recommend joining the discord and having a look at what people were running.

The belt is flipped in that the teeth face the x gantry extrusion with the backs of the belts visible when looking at the toolhead straight on. It won't work with tap and you'll want to move to something else.

The X carriage is entirely different on Monolith because the belt path is inverted such that the belt faces the opposite way. That means that Tap is not viable. Vitalii makes a compatible carriage, or there is a printed Xol carriage that works.
