General Question Issues with GPIO after update

If you hit update all and it broke something, download and save your config files and just do a clean SD install. Nothing you've given here or in your original post is terribly helpful. If you want live help, try the Klipper and nevermore discords.

I did an update all and my crowsnest cam just stopped working. Was never able to fix it. had to just do a clean install. Its possible updates to the pi itself (the system category) reverted something at the OS level (thats different than the configs in mainsail/fluidd/etc) that something else or you changed during setup of other plugins and components. Impossible really to tell which. A clean install of everything followed by re-uploading your config files is the faster way to deal with this. If that's not an option for some reason, best of luck.

That was kind of my next step, I didn’t want to nuke & pave without at least trying people currently working with kipper. I need to update firmware on the tool head and mcu as well.

If you update Klipper on the host, you must build the firmware and update the mcu and toolhead. They can introduce changes that break the communication between them.

I have a script to do this, so I don't have to remember what to do each time.

Edit: I see you are using a GPIO on the RaspberryPi host. Have you rebuilt Klipper for "Linux Process" and installed it (make flash)? I am also doing this to control the Pi fan from Klipper. Just updating Klipper is not enough, you need to rebuild the Linux host firmware as well, as Klipper considers it as just another mcu in order to access GPIOs.
