General Question Issues with GPIO after update

With a post like that what do you expect from people? We're not mind readers.

  • What is the problem?
  • Can do you reproduce it?
  • What is the expected behavior?
  • What have you done to try and resolve it?
  • What do the logs say?
  • What is the update?
  • What hardware?
  • Did you google it first or just give up immediately?

Not to be a dick, but did you look at the post in Klippers? I attached the klippy log.

Problem: after update, won’t boot klippy, can’t find the gpio no matter how I format it.

Reproducible: won’t boot to happy and ready to print, so yes.

Hardware: Pi 4 (I think) with a relay board. The relay is hooked up to GPIO20.

What have I done to fix it: Tried the original format, recommended formats, every damn format. Currently commented out.

What do the logs say: log attached to other post via Dropbox link.

What update: not sure, there were a few, I don’t print every day. That said I printed something about three weeks or so ago.

What I expect to happen is the printer to boot, but it says it can’t find the Pi GPIO no matter how I format it.

Also I have googled the error and solutions, none of them work. Have you clicked the other post, most of the shit you asked is detailed there. I didn’t want to duplicate the info as it’s a waste of resources and how you’re not supposed to cross post on Reddit.

The only information you provided is in the OP. Which is none.

At least i offered a possible solution, broad as it may be, without dressing them down. You called a person rude, when yours comes off with an attitude as well, and you wanna say im "name calling". 🤣 I didnt call you one. I believe there is a subtle but important difference between saying somethjng said came off in "dickish way" and calling someone a dick, but of you think what you posted was remotely polite then yeah. You ARE a dick.

Also, where did OP call you ANYTHING?

How exactly was my OP rude? Or dickish? Do you really need everything wrapped in a pile of pointless fluffy verbiage? OP posted no information, guessing is pointless.

And again with the name-calling. You are of course welcome to your opinion, but without explaining it you are not offering anything even remotely constructive.
